Presidential Polls

With the conventions complete and the presidential election three months away, American voters will be inundated with survey results and polling data. Tim Johnson, director of the Survey Research Laboratory in the UIC College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs, is available to sort out the polls, surveys, demographics and resulting data. Johnson, who is also vice president/president-elect for the American Association for Public Opinion Research, can discuss topics, such as: survey measurement, data collection procedures, transparency, and cross-cultural issues in survey research.
